Hello everyone, it's Kathy again! I hope you have kept up with my house painting project. If not, you can check out Part 1 and Part 2. A few coats of paint and the work of an expert painter made my house look new! It's like I got a new house but didn't have to move:)
Today we are going to take a look at the living room. Now, Ken and my husband thought I had lost my mind on the color choice but it really works and both of them had to admit that it looked really good when it was finished!
So, the before...
And after...
I am sorry for the poor photo quality! I will upload replacement pictures when I get some pictures with a better camera.
Before...And, yes, the dog sits on the furniture just like a person:)
And after...
Can you see the trim nightmare? Ken was a real trooper and painted all the trim without any complaint! I am beyond happy with how clean and fresh everything looks!
One more before ...
A very long hall with FIVE doors! Ugh! But now it looks amazing!
Not the exact same shot but you get the idea!
Do you have a house that needs a facelift? Call Ken so he can give you an estimate on how much it will cost to make your house clean and fresh! I know you will be very happy with the job Ken does and how easy he is to work with!
Check back for the last room we updated...the bathroom! Ken's favorite redo was the kitchen because it really did make a huge difference but mine is the bathroom. I have been dreaming of this color in the bathroom for several years and to see it come to fruition...well, I get a smile on my face every time I peek in:)

House in the Middle of Nowhere Part 2
Hello! Hello! It's Kathy again with Part 2 of my home improvement project. I was so fortunate to get Ken at Painter with Integrity to come to the Middle of Nowhere for two weeks to paint my house. It did help that I have known Ken for many years! I also promised to feed him:)
Today I will show the dining room! There isn't a lot of change that is visible in the pictures as the color is only slightly darker. I do believe this room was painted about 15 years ago but didn't seem to get the wear and tear that the other rooms did. This room was a little easier to paint than the others because it is an add-on that was finished in about 1998 and has sheetrock instead of the nasty mobile home paneling!
So, this is the before picture of the diningroom...
As you can see, Ken is already hard at work!
See the slight difference in color? We made a huge mistake by not having Ken purchase the paint for us. Did you know you get a great paint discount by purchasing through Ken?
And a perfect frame into my beautiful kitchen!
I have two more rooms to show you but that will wait for another day! If you are inspired by these pictures to have Ken paint your house...interior or exterior, just give him a call! He does an amazing job for a price you can afford!

House in the Middle of Nowhere
Welcome to our home in north central Oregon! Did you wonder where Ken was for the first two weeks of July? Well, he was painting the inside of my house in 100 degree heat! I am Kathy Skinner and I have known Ken for 40+ years. I also help him with his blog:) I was super excited when I struck a deal with Ken to come for two weeks to give my house a much needed facelift! Now, by house I really mean 1976 single-wide mobile home that we have given a lot of tender loving care to over the 20 years we have owned it! We painted the whole inside of the mobile home before we moved in 20 years ago but the kitchen and bathroom had not been repainted since we moved in and were in pretty sad condition. Thanks to Ken, I feel like I have a new house! I hope you will enjoy taking a tour with me over the next few days to see just what Ken did to our home.
I do think Ken was most pleased with how the kitchen turned out so I am going to show it first. Personally, I LOVE my bathroom so will show it last:)
Ken had to paint a lot of trim, a lot of cupboards and that horrible brown fake cork wall.
What do you think of the after picture?!!! WOW! I totally LOVE it!!! The cupboards are so shiny with high gloss enamel and that nasty brown wall is a beautiful light blue:)
Another before...
It looks like we could have been a little better with the before pictures but I think you get the idea.
Oh my goodness! Is this even the same room?!!! Amazing!!!
See that pretty butterscotch wall through the doorway? Well, that will be the next room on our tour.
If you would like Ken to turn your house from drab to fabulous, just give him a call!
